The Adaptive Climbing Coalition is thrilled to invite you to our Spring 2024 Adaptive Climbing Clinic, set amidst the stunning landscapes of Joshua Tree National Park, California. Renowned for its world-class climbing opportunities, Joshua Tree National Park is the perfect backdrop for our event, designed to embrace and enhance the climbing experience for adaptive climbers. Join us for an empowering journey on May 3rd, 4th, and 5th, as we focus on celebrating abilities and fostering independence across all climbing disciplines.
Why This Clinic Is For You: If you've ever dreamed of climbing outdoors, our clinic is the perfect opportunity. Unlike a retreat, this event is a hands-on, fully immersive climbing clinic tailored specifically for adaptive climbers. Our dedicated ACC guides have decades of climbing experience and have undergone over 50 hours of specialized training in working with adaptive climbers and utilizing adaptive climbing systems. Personalized instruction / guiding will be tailored to you personally and a guide will be next to you throughout the climb.
What We Offer:
Expert Guidance: One-on-one climbing instruction from our specially trained guides.
Comprehensive Support: A climbing coach will be available to help prepare you for your climb.
All-Inclusive Experience: Your stay will include camping in Joshua Tree National Park, with catered meals provided on Friday night, and breakfast, lunch, and dinner on both Saturday and Sunday. We've got all your climbing and camping gear covered.
Event Schedule: Check-in starts at 1pm on Friday, May 3rd, followed by two full days of climbing activities. Camping is available from May 3rd until 11 am on May 6th.
Cost: Thanks to the generosity of our sponsors and supporters, this incredible experience is offered at no cost to you as an adaptive climber. You just need to get to Joshua Tree!
